Poland’s entrance into the European Union (EU) in 2004 has seen more positive trends in terms of the country’s development. Since 2004, the Polish economy has been consistently increasing, whilst displaying good growth rates. Today, almost 15 years following its entrance to the EU, it is defined as the strongest economy in Eastern Europe, and the sixth in largest in the EU.

Following the fast growth of Polish economy, Forbes Magazine has recently stated that “Poland is one of the world economy’s great success stories right now”. Additionally, according to a report published in 2018 by Ernst & Young, Poland is breaking new ground as the most attractive destination among all Central and Eastern European countries (CEE) for real estate investments.

Warsaw’s city centre and its surrounding neighbourhoods are packed full of restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops, and offer a vibrant night life.

The Praga South district lies of the eastern banks of the Wisla River, near the City Centre. It is home to around 180,000 residents, which comprises about ten percent of the city’s population. Praga South is currently amid an intensive renewal process. Over the last few years, many young artists have come to reside here, adding to the youthful and bohemian atmosphere.

One of the trendiest points in the quarter is the Soho Factory – an industrial area converted into a vibrant centre containing art galleries, architecture and designer offices, restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities.

The Borough's distance from the centre is about a 10-minute drive, and there’s the subway and other public transport options available for commute. Praga was recently featured by one of the UK’s leading newspapers (The Independent) as one of the 10 coolest quarters in Europe.
